SURRENDERING TO TRUTH

We all have personal truths about what is appropriate and feels "correct" for ourselves. Then, the reality of what may work for others may not work for us, so it seems the world is a spectrum of dualities where it can be challenging to find any consistency of truth. But there is Truth with a capitol "T" which surpasses the test of time and remains unchangeable, and that is LOVE — the devotion of love for the sake of love, known as Bhakti.

Often searching for truth is but the pursuit of the intellect which has a function, and yet in actuality, the truth is always right here, in our hearts. When making choices or discernments (in other words, judgements), the question, am I acting from the heart and love? Or from the mind of the intellect and fear? Must be weighed. In the end, the heart knows all things and the right action for every moment. After weighing all sides, it will ultimately come down to the heart; rest assured the heart will always have the final word, although waiting for outcomes can be like having our hands tied behind our backs, feeling like we can do nothing to move the process forward. Here is when we must take refuge and trust in love, and in the Creator, knowing that Justice will always have its day in the end. Remembering it is not our job to deliver judgement (or a better word punishment) on anyone or anything, as in most cases, time reveals all things and lady Justice will always have her day.

Ultimately the only thing we have say in—is how we conduct ourselves authentically from the heart and to be able to communicate this with love without accusations or attachments. Emotions will often get in the way of facts as we make assumptions and take things personally, distorting our words and misinterpreting others. And so by being impeccable with our word (being completely honest about our feelings without projecting or manipulating outcomes), not taking anything personally and not making any assumptions, we can do our best​.
