DEATH CARE

Many forms of End of Life Guidance are offered and may encompass one of these components or all of them. Whether that be through; counselling (candid discussion about the process and preparations needed), spiritual healing (finding peace and preparing the soul to transition), being present during the last hours of this life (including songs, smudging and prayers), performing last rites (including ceremonially preparing the body before cremation or funeral services), presiding over memorial or funerary services, and of course, providing console for family and friends afterwards.
Each person and family is unique to their processes concerning death. It is of great value, at these times, to have a spiritual guide to support and uplift the life of the one who is transitioning and to assist their family and friends to find peace. Death can be an amazing celebration and transformation for all involved; it can be beautifully healing.

​RIA-MAE LONG
​ALCHEMIST, SPIRIT HEALER AND TEACHER

Ria-Mae Long is a life student of eastern and western mysticism, philosophy, esoteric thought and ancient cultures. For over a decade, she has studied and worked with-in the mystery traditions, after experiencing a spiritual awakening in 2007. Since 2015, she's been teaching courses on esoteric sciences, meditation, alchemy, astrology and occult practices, developing serval programs and working with hundreds of clients offering spiritual guidance and assistance in healing. ​ 
In 2019 she received the honour of becoming a Pipe Holder through Wade Maude of Hollow Bone Healing Lodge and sits on the Board of Directors for the​ organization in Calgary. She is also the founder and President of the House of Mem Centre for Spiritual Development in Banff, Canada, a society of spiritual practitioners in the Bow Valley adhering to the teachings of the Moon, the Sun, and The Four Directions.
